EU Court says CBD not a Narcotic -ULU reaction
Following the news that the European Union Court of Justice has ruled that CBD is not narcotic and is free for cross-border trade, Paul Hembery, founder of CBD oil and beauty brand ULU (www.ULU.com) commented:
“We welcome this decision from the European Union Court of Justice with open arms; the misconception that CBD is a narcotic is one of the main factors causing miscommunication over the benefits of CBD oil. It has caused many to be wary of trying the non-addictive plant-based support system when in actual fact, CBD could well help millions with the daily struggles of anxiety, stress, sleep issues and even to alleviate symptoms of diseases like cancer.
“More needs to be done to promote the responsible use of quality natural hemp-based CBD products to ensure all are aware of its benefits and understand how it could well help them. Hopefully this decision from the ECJ will help relieve any fears and misconceptions around CBD; education is so important at this stage to ensure people know that CBD is an option and for them to understand the different between the natural plant-based products and the synthetically engineered pharmaceutical products.”
